Privacy Policy
Updated: June 2026
The Wellness Rundown (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how you can control it. We’ve written it to match what the site actually does.
Information we collect
Site analytics (no cookies, no login). When you visit, we record a lightweight pageview: the page path, the referring site, a traffic-source tag from the link you arrived on, and an approximate country (estimated by our host, Cloudflare, from your IP). We do not set cookies for this and we do not store your IP address.
Link-click logging. When you click certain internal links that point to a product or partner (links beginning with /go/), we log that single click for traffic attribution: the link, your approximate country, your browser’s user-agent string, the referring page URL, and the campaign tag. This is per-click event data; we do not use it to build a personal profile and we do not sell it.
Information you give us. When you submit an email through a form, a free guide, or the perimenopause quiz, we collect your email address and the form’s source tag. The quiz also derives a single dominant symptom category from your answers (for example: energy, sleep, gut, weight, or mood) so we can match your results and tailor what we send. Submitting any of these forms subscribes you to our free weekly email. You can unsubscribe in one click from any message.
Who helps us process your data
We use a small number of third-party service providers (“processors”) that act on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics.
- Beehiiv — our email service provider. Your email address, source/campaign tags, and (if you took the quiz) your derived symptom category are stored with Beehiiv so we can send you our newsletter. Beehiiv processes this under its own privacy policy.
Handing your email to our own email provider so we can send you the newsletter you asked for is not a “sale” of your data and is not sharing it with outside advertisers.
How we use your information
To run and improve the site, to send the weekly email you opted into, and to understand which content and links bring readers in. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
Our own site is cookieless — we do not set tracking cookies for analytics. The only cookies you may pick up are set by a merchant’s website after you click an affiliate link and leave our site; those are governed by that merchant’s policy, which we do not control.
Data retention
We keep analytics and click-attribution data for up to 24 months, then delete or further aggregate it. We keep your subscriber information for as long as you remain subscribed; if you unsubscribe, we keep only the minimal record needed to honor your opt-out. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Affiliate links
We use affiliate links (see our Disclosure page). When you click an affiliate link, the destination merchant (Amazon, ClickBank, etc.) may set their own cookies and collect their own data according to their policies, which we do not control.
Sensitive information
The symptom category the quiz derives reflects a general wellness interest, not a medical diagnosis. We use it only to personalize your results and segment our newsletter. We do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
Your rights and choices
You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message, or email us to exercise any right below.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know and access the personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, object to, and restrict processing of your data, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Our legal bases are our legitimate interest (privacy-preserving analytics) and your consent (marketing email). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
